Elpis Rehabilitation Services (ERS) began as a private physiotherapy clinic in Ibanda District in 2017. After seven years of dedicated service, the founders recognized the growing need to transform ERS into a non-profit organization to better address the complex social, economic, and rehabilitation challenges faced by persons with physical limitations and disabilities.

Many patients struggle to afford long-term rehabilitation for chronic conditions such as stroke.
